Calicut Globstars Begin Training Camp Ahead of KCL Season 3

Calicut Globstars have officially begun their preparations for Kerala Cricket League Season 3, with the squad completing its first training session at the Thumba Ground in Thiruvananthapuram.

Led by Head Coach Bijumon N.P., all 16 players of the Globstars squad attended the opening session as the team began its preparations for the upcoming KCL campaign.

The first day of camp featured a combination of fitness and conditioning drills, fielding sessions and cricket-specific training, with the players getting back into their training rhythm ahead of the tournament. The squad also took part in a series of fun and engaging activities, giving the players an opportunity to build camaraderie and strengthen their bond as a team.

With the opening fixture fast approaching, the focus will now shift towards sharpening skills, building combinations and ensuring the squad is match-ready for the challenges of the season.

Globstars to Face Thrissur Titans in Season Opener

Calicut Globstars will begin their KCL Season 3 campaign on August 20, when they take on Thrissur Titans in the opening match of the tournament at The Sports Hub, Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram.

The third season of the Kerala Cricket League will be played from August 20 to September 5, with the Globstars set to compete throughout the tournament as they look to make their mark in the new season.

The team will continue its training camp in the coming days, with the coaching staff focusing on match preparation, player combinations, skills and overall team balance ahead of the opening fixture.
